Ogden to Host America 250 Celebration

July 2 at Pineway Ponds Park
The Town of Ogden invites residents and visitors from across the region to gather for a historic community celebration of America 250 at Pineway Ponds Park, marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The event will take place on Thursday, July 2, beginning at 6 p.m. at Pineway Ponds Park (1 Park Road, Spencerport). Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
The evening will feature a full lineup of entertainment, food, and family-friendly activities designed to bring the community together in celebration of this historic milestone.
Live music will be performed throughout the evening by Leather & Lace, North of Forty, and the Twilight Band, generously sponsored by the Buono Family.
Guests will also enjoy a wide variety of food trucks offering something for everyone, including Kona Ice, LuGia’s Ice Cream, Chef’s Mobile Kitchen, Sammies-n-Sweets, Roc City Sammich, Barton’s Parkside Hots, and DJ’s Pizzeria.
In addition to live entertainment and food, a variety of community partners will be on site with informational tables and activities, including the Ogden Farmers’ Library, the Ogden Historical Society, and Spencerport’s Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post #330, along with other local organizations.
Families can also enjoy games and activities throughout the park, sponsored by Nichols Electric, helping to ensure a fun and welcoming experience for guests of all ages.
The evening will conclude at dusk with a fireworks display, sponsored by Bob Johnson Auto Group, providing a spectacular finale to a night of patriotic community celebration.
