Jubilee Christian Church to Host 5th Annual Community Family Fun & Resource Day
Jubilee Christian Church will host its 5th Annual Community Family Fun & Resource Day on Saturday, August 22, from 12 to 3 p.m. The free community event is designed to bring families together while connecting residents with helpful community resources, local organizations, and area businesses in a fun and welcoming environment.
The afternoon will feature live music by The Redeemed, along with a variety of free activities for children and families, including face painting, games, music, raffles, popcorn, and cotton candy.
Families will also have an opportunity to connect with Monroe County agencies and local businesses and learn about resources available in the community.
As part of the event’s community outreach, free children’s backpacks will be available while supplies last.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring a donation for the Community Hygiene Bank, helping provide essential personal-hygiene items to individuals and families who may be in need.
“This event is about more than having fun,” organizers said. “It is an opportunity for churches, community organizations, businesses, and families to come together, build relationships, share resources, and serve our neighbors.”
Admission is free, and everyone in the community is invited to attend.
