The 50-year reunion for the Gates Chili High School Class of 1977 is scheduled for September 2027. The celebration will be hosted at the Airport Marriott Hotel located at 1890 West Ridge Road, Rochester. The event will be held over a weekend at the end of September 2027, as organizers want to incorporate some school functions preceding the dinner.
The plan is to kick things off with a Friday evening class cocktail reception and perhaps a Saturday afternoon varsity football game. The dinner celebration on a Saturday evening will begin at 6 p.m. in the Marriott Grand Ballroom. The dinner will start with some hand-passed hors d’oeuvres and include a buffet with a carving station. All this to be followed by one of our favorite local DJ’s providing dancing music until 11 p.m. Also, the Marriott has offered a limited block of rooms at a discounted rate, so be prepared to book early.
