BERGEN

•Maher, Kathleen M., September 12, 2013 at age 83; predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Maher; son, Patrick Maher; and sister, Rosemary Crossen. She is survived by three sons, James (Theresa) Maher of Gates, Michael Maher and Christopher Maher, both of Bergen; two daughters, Maureen Maher and Colleen (Mark) Willis, both of Bergen; a daughter-in-law, Rose Kelly Maher of Bergen; a brother, John (Betty) O’Brien; a sister, Donna Morrow of Batavia; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her Mass of Christian Burial was held September 17 at Resurrection Parish – St. Joseph Church, Batavia. Contributions in her memory can be made in honor of Sundae Rose Duyssen in care of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 1425 Jefferson Road, Rochester, New York 14623.

BROCKPORT

•Hill, Lina Brownell, September 12, 2013, at age 86. Predeceased by her parents, John Brownell and Anna Meinzer; husband of 15 years, Russel B. Hill. She is survived by her step-daughter, Patricia (David) Perry of Ft. Worth, Texas; step grandchildren, Chris (Andrea) Wales of Austin, Texas, Mark Wales of Venice, California, Katie (Chris) Snow of Ft. Worth, Texas and Michael Perry of Colorado Springs, Colorado; several step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Lina is a graduate of Nazareth College, a retired English Teacher at East Rochester High School, a devoted member of Nativity B.V.M. Church in Brockport and a member of the Rochester Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame.
Lina’s Funeral Mass was celebrated September 16 at Nativity B.V.M., Brockport. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Nativity B.V.M. CHILI

•Ingalsbe, C. Alan, age 93, an advertising manager at General Railway Signal Co., in Rochester, for 35 years prior to his retirement, died suddenly on September 13, 2013 at his home in Chili. He was a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego, served during WWII with the US Army Signal Corps, was a member and Lifetime Trustee at the First Baptist Church in Chili. He was a former treasurer of the Rochester Advertising Association and the Chili Historical Society. He is survived by his loving wife, M. Jane (Cooper) Ingalsbe of Chili; two daughters, Marcia (James) Jereckos of Webster and Sally (James) Robb of Spencerport; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held September 21, at the First Baptist Church in Chili. Contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church in Chili, 3182 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624 in his memory.

•Kuzmanovska, Ratka, September 14, 2013, at age 82. Predeceased by her husband, Aleksander. Survived by her children, Mendo (Blagica) and Dimce (Sonja); grandchildren, Jasmina, Marija, Tony and Darko; brothers in Macedonia; and many relatives in the Rochester area.
Her Funeral Service was held September 17 at St. Dimitria Macedonian Orthodox Church. Interment, Grove Place Cemetery.

•Schuyler, Lea Cole, September 14, 2013 at age 81. Predeceased by her husband, Richard of 55 years. Survived by her children, Cindy McCance of Kentucky, Carrie (Kevin) Clar, Christine (David) McTigue of Georgia and David Schuyler; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers; many relatives and friends. Lea retired from the Monroe County Health Department and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Chili.
Her Memorial Service was held September 17 at First Baptist Church in Chili. Donations can be made to the church, 3182 Chili Avenue, Rochester 14624 in her memory.

•Ventura, Harold E., Peacefully on September 11, 2013 at Hildebrandt Hospice. Predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Ferne Ventura; brother, Joseph Ventura. Survived by his devoted wife, Virginia Ventura; daughters, Gail Pettrone and Joan (Michael) Krupnicki; grandchildren, Andrew Krupnicki, Alea and Jenah Pettrone, Sunny Krupnicki; “furry granddaughters” Bella and Paisly; sisters, Betty Arnone and Maryann Marcinkowski; brothers-in-law, Jack Schraml and Charles (Audrey) Schraml; several cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated September 16 at St. Pius the Tenth Church, Chili. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

GREECE

•Fitzgibbon, Robert, September 11, 2013 at age 80. Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dianne T. Fitzgibbon; sons, Michael T. (Maggie) Fitzgibbon and John P. (Cynthia) Fitzgibbon; daughters, Mary P. (John) Marianetti and Maureen A. (William) Wagner; grandchildren, Caitlin (Tom), Mairead (Rich), Shauna, Sophia, Evan, Ila, Abby, Anna, Oliver, Noah, Luch, Molly and Lillian; sister, Mary K. “Kit” Kiah; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Robert is a Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired as Assistant Superintendent of the Greece Central School District in 1989, after 32 years of service.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated September 16  at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, Rochester. Interment was held privately in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. •Houck, Mark A., September 8, 2013 at age 60. Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Fredericka; brothers, Paul, Michael and Peter. Survived by his sons, Hans (Christy) Houck, Mark (Lisa) Houck; grandchildren, Jack and Quinlyn Houck; sister, Martha (Tim) Henshaw; brothers, Christopher (Laurie Jo) Houck, Matthew Houck, David Houck; and several loving relatives and friends.
Services were held September 21 at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece. Private interment.

•Oppenheimer, Sandra J. “Everyone’s Favorite Aunt Sandy”, On September 13, 2013. She is survived by her soulmate, Robert Reulbach; her children, Tracy (David) Miconi and Kyle (Nicole Bonin) Oppenheimer; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Rachel and Cassandra Miconi, and Mia Oppenheimer; brothers, Charles (Jennifer), Robert, Michael (Chrissy), and Rob (Joanne) Verstreate; sisters, Vicky (Terry) Brown and Robin (Dave) Sanza; also nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. She will be greatly missed by “Boo Boo”.
Her Funeral Service was held September 19 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice in her memory.

HILTON

•Damaschke, Donald A., on September 17, 2013 at age 81 with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marion; his son, Dennis (Mary Lynn); his daughters, Mary Lou (Chet) Rybicki, Laurie (Don) Felice, Lisa (Jeff) Wood, Margie (Dan) Sagneri, Patty (Kevin) Bardeen; his grandchildren, Ellie, Susan (Brad) Bennett, David, Christine, Steven, Jenny, Matt, Stephanie, Spencer, Nathan and Hannah. Don was a graduate of Aquinas Institute. He worked as a Realtor/Real Estate Appraiser for more than 50 years and worked at Eastman Kodak Company for over 20 years. He sang with the Chorus of the Genesee and was a member of the Midtownaires Quartet.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated September 21 at St. Leo’s Church, Hilton. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center or to the Rochester Ronald McDonald House in his memory.

•Holman, Arlene H., September 12, 2013, age 97. Predeceased by her husband, Bernard, 2002. Survived by her sister-in-law, Darlene Strussenberg; many nieces, nephews and devoted friends. Also predeceased by her brother, Frederick “Fritz” Strussenberg and her sisters, Viola Kluth, Edna Jennejahn, and Marion Ophardt.
Arlene was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where her Funeral Service was held September 15. Private interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to her Church Memorial Fund or Worship For Shut-ins in her memory.

•Kenny, Steven J., Suddenly September 16, 2013, age 56. Survived by his wife, Wendy (Stevens) Kenny; his daughters, Gina (Sean) Audin and Nicole Franckowiak (Mark Affronti); grandson, Coledon Pickett; his mother, Patricia Miller; his father, Richard Kenny; brother, David Kenny; sister, Lynn Kenny; father-in-law, John Tagg; sister-in-law, Charlene Morris; brothers-in-law, David and Mark (Paula) Stevens; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many supportive friends. Predeceased by his brother-in-law, Frank Lioy.

•Kucmerowski, Chester T., September 14, 2013 at age 86. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth “Boots’ Kucmerowski; children, Denise (Donald) Henchen, Dennis (Carolanne) Kucmerowski of Delray, Florida, Douglas (Sandra) Kucmerowski and David (Tia Feszczyszyn) Kucmerowski; sister, Sally Alpaugh; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Chester was a retiree of Eastman Kodak D.P.I. and an Army Veteran of WWII.
Interment in Fairfield Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

•Lasch, Bradley R., of Plymouth, Minnesota formerly of Hilton, died September 9, 2013 at age 63. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Renee; daughter, Heather (Bryan) Zollman; son, Jonathan (Caitlin) Lasch; grandchildren, Jacob, Sydney and Johnny Zollman and Brody Lasch; mother, LuDeen Lasch-Schepler; brothers, Stephen (Jean), Gregory (Wendy) and Douglas (Sharon) Lasch; his sister, Cheryl Marano; many other loving family members and friends.

•McMillan, Charles, September 14, 2013. Survived by wife, Sylvia; children, Debbie (Bobby) Campbell, Michael (Cynthia) McMillan, Susan McMillan, Wendy McMillan, Scott (Kate) McMillan; sisters, Edna Hundley and Katie Kincaid; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

KENDALL

•Meyer, Troy R., age 34, died suddenly September 13, 2013 at his residence. Predeceased by his father Richard Meyer and grandmother Doloris Biederman. He is survived by his mother: Lydia B. Meyer and Dad: Tony Giambrone, sister: Jennifer Meyer, brother: Anthony Giambrone, his girlfriend: Michelle Kintz. Also survived by two children that were a special part of his life: Athan Kintz and Alex Riorden, as well as many aunts, uncles and many friends.
His Memorial Service was held September 19 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the American Lung Association in his memory.

SPENCERPORT

•Girard, Marian B., September 13, 2013 at age 89. Predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Damas O. Girard. Marian is survived by her sisters-in-law, Doris Girard and Mary Girard; many nieces and nephews.
Services were held September 16 at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Interment at Fairfield Cemetery, Spencerport. Donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory.

•Kaltenbach, Joseph W. (Ashton), September 8, 2013, at age 87. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary; wife, Eleanor; son, David; and sister, Mary. Survived by his loving companion, Jackie Ashton; son, Joseph; daughter-in-law, Renee; step daughter, Dawn Odgen; his grandchildren: Amy, Melissa, Kristen, Jaime, David (Angela), Joseph (Melissa), Jason (Christine) Ashton and Kellie (Rick) Judd; several great-grandchildren; sister, Ann DeFord; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bonnie Karstetter and Charles and Marcia Keady. Joseph was a retiree of Eastman Kodak with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and USS Shangrila Reunion Association.
His Memorial Service was held September 14 at the New Comer Funeral Home, Greece. Private interment. Contributions can be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.
