The Brockport Central School District Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) invites the public to attend Meet the Candidate Night on Monday, May 2. The candidate running for a five-year trustee position on the Brockport Board of Education, Daniel J. Legault, will be given an opportunity to deliver a statement, then answer questions from community members.
The evening begins at 7 p.m. in the Oliver Middle School Large Group Instruction (LGI) Room at 40 Allen Street. Attendees are encouraged to park in the lot north of the building.
The board position will appear on the ballot for the proposed 2016-17 school budget vote on May 17. District residents can learn more about the proposed budget at a public hearing on May 3 at 7 p.m. in the Fred W. Hill School Cafetorium.
