Hamlin: Peacefully on May 3, 2016. Phyllis Schafer, 93. Predeceased by her husband, Donald, 2014 and her son, Donald Jr. Survived by her daughters, Roxanne Schafer, Martha Brandt (Walter) and Katherine Schafer; her grandchildren, Amy Noble, Sara McAuliffe; great-grandchildren, Donielle, Katana and Hadyn; great-great granddaughter, Elli; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Schafer-Cole; sisters-in-law, Irene Manitsas, Marie Costich, Cynthia Schafer; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Also predeceased by her brother, Emmett Costich & sister, Rosemary Snyder.
Friends are invited to call SAT. 2-3 at the First Presbyterian Church of Brockport where a Memorial Service will be held at 3 o’clock. Private interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin. Those wishing may contribute to the Morgan-Manning House c/o Western Monroe Historical Society in her memory.
