The Spencerport Rotary Memorial Scholarship began 30 years ago to honor club members who had passed away. This scholarship is awarded to a Spencerport High School student who displays good academic standing and will pursue a college diploma. This year’s memorial scholarship recipient is Kaylin Wetherell. The Peter Scott Mueller Scholarship is awarded to a Spencerport student who has decided to pursue a trade. The scholarship was established by the family of Peter Scott Mueller, a Spencerport student who lost his life in an automobile accident. The scholarship recipient this year is Mary (Amanda) Ventrella. Coincidentally, both students will attend Niagara University in the fall.
