Chili: Friday, August 5, 2016. Predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Vae. Survived by his daughters, Linda (John) Easton and Sandra (Raymond) Almekinder; 4 grandchildren, Bradley (Lorin) Easton, Ryan Easton, Lauren (Robert) McCarthy and Matthew Rice; sister, Virginia Neely. Bob served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was an active participating member of the Chili VFW Post #412 and Humboldt Lodge IOOF #138. Bob was a devoted volunteer and held many leadership positions including Commander at the VFW and Noble Grande at Humboldt Lodge. The family extends sincere appreciation to GrandVille Senior Living Center for their loving care.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, 2771 Chili Ave., Tuesday 4-7 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday 11 AM at Pearce Memorial Church, 4322 Buffalo Road, North Chili. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the VFW Post #412.
