There is still time to register for Hilton Community Education classes scheduled for February. This month’s offerings include: Microsoft Word Intermediate on February 12 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; Buying and Selling Real Estate in Today’s Market on February 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; Home Repair Workshop – Plumbing in two sessions, February 25 and March 5 from 6:15 to 8:45 p.m.; Healthy Gardening Tools and Techniques for Garden Longevity on February 26 from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Investing in Real Estate on February 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The second session for Zumba begins February 27 and runs through April 17 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Pilates runs February 28 through April 11 on Wednesdays. Many other offerings are available in March and April as well. Visit Hilton.k12.ny.us/commed for a full listing of classes and programs.
The online registration system accepts Discover, Visa and MasterCard payments, and allows users to register quickly and easily. Registrations are also accepted by mail and in person with check or cash. The Community Education Office is located in the District Office/Quest Building, 225 West Avenue, Hilton, and is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on school days.
Please note that when the Hilton Central School District closes due to emergency or weather-related conditions, Community Education classes and activities on school grounds are also cancelled. The District contacts the local media when closing the schools is necessary. A message is also placed on the District’s voicemail, 392-1000, and posted on the website, Facebook and Twitter pages. Community Education classes and activities held off campus are at the instructor’s discretion to cancel. No classes will be held the week of February 19 through 25 due to Winter Recess.
