Workshop offered for those living in landmark homes
Members of the Chili community who live in, or think they may be living in, a landmark home and are interested in exploring their home and its historic significance, are invited to join the Chili Historic Preservation Board on Monday, June 10, at 7 p.m. in the main meeting room at the Chili Town Hall, 3333 Chili Avenue. Experts and other landmark owners will be present to help participants begin or continue their investigative voyage.
The Chili Historic Preservation Board will welcome Cynthia Howk, Architectural Research Coordinator at the Landmark Society of Western New York. Howk will share information and answer questions about historic preservation planning, the National Register of Historic Places program, and other benefits that may be of interest to Chili residents interested in learning more about their homes’ history.
Reservations are preferred but not necessary. To reserve a seat, call the Chili Town Hall at 889-3550 and leave name and contact information. For information, contact Bonnie Moore at 594-2944 or Phil Supernault at psupernault@rochester.rr.com.
