Mooreland Productions, LLC acquires rights to the Rochester RazorSharks franchise

Mooreland Productions, LLC, a Rochester-based entertainment production company, has acquired the rights to the Rochester RazorSharks franchise. The Rochester RazorSharks will return to the Premier Basketball League (PBL) for the 2020 season, playing 20 games total from January through April 2020. The Rochester RazorSharks will announce their new venue in the fall of 2019. The Rochester RazorSharks have hired former RazorSharks player and three-time PBL champion and MVP Troy Jackson as their Head Coach.

RazorSharks CEO Jen Moore says, “The Rochester RazorSharks are dedicated to creating a championship basketball team that will bring the Rochester community together with an affordable, high-caliber, professional sports and entertainment experience for our fans with a positive impact on our city.”

Mooreland Productions was founded in 2018 by husband and wife Keith and Jen Moore to share their passion for fun and affordable entertainment with the Rochester community. Keith and Jen and their four children have been RazorSharks season ticket holders since 2005. Jen was previously the RazorSharks Director of Communication and Keith appeared as Finley, the RazorSharks mascot, for many years. Keith and Jen spent the last six months in California, helping to start the San Diego Waves, an expansion basketball team in The Basketball League.
