•Payne, Leah, age 98, formerly of Northwood Apartments, died November 16, 2013 in The Villages of Orleans following a long illness. Mrs. Payne was a member of the Knowlesville United Methodist Church, and worked for 30 years as a program director at various Harness Racing Tracks including Northfield, Ohio, Finger Lakes Racetrack and Buffalo Raceway. Mrs. Payne was predeceased by her husband, Donald. She is survived by a cousin: David Foster of Medina and several dear friends including Marilyn (Michael) Kilborn of Albion.
Funeral Services were held November 22 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Albion. Private interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Knowlesville United Methodist Church or COVA in her memory.
