The Hilton-Parma Senior Center is offering a trip to Roberts Wesleyan College Community Theatre on Sunday, January 26, to see a production of the musical Newsies. The show is based on the 1992 musical film Newsies, which in turn was inspired by the real life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City. Transportation will be provided in Town vehicles.
After the show, the group will stop at a local restaurant for dinner with participants paying for their own meals.
The group will depart from the Hilton Community Center, 59 Henry Street, at 1 p.m. for the 2 p.m. performance. The show is approximately two hours in length with one intermission. Estimated return time is 6 p.m. Cost is $20 per person which includes transportation and show ticket.
