Hope Hall School honored by local Gates Chili Chamber

Hope Hall School, located at 1612 Buffalo Road, Gates, will receive the Business in the Spotlight (BITS) award from the Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce at the Chamber’s March 17 lunch meeting at Agatina’s Restaurant, 2967 Buffalo Road, in recognition for their contribution to the economic vibrancy of the community, community involvement, special achievements, growth and success, and job creation.

The award, given quarterly, requires an in-depth nomination, interview, and judging process. Companies are critiqued on several levels including contribution to the local economy and community, success, longevity, and growth of the company; and unique approach to the industry.

“We are pleased to be presenting Hope Hall School with this award,” said Carla Vazquez, Relationship Manager, Business Banking, ESL Federal Credit Union, and Chair of the BITS Committee.  “Hope Hall School was established in 1994 to provide opportunity for educationally marginalized children to become successful lifelong learners. The school serves students in grades 2 through 12 from 19 school districts.”

Hope Hall School is a private, non-sectarian, not-for-profit school designed for students with special learning needs who consistently experience frustration in the traditional classroom setting.

The Chamber’s March lunch meeting speaker is David Mammano, host of the Avanti Entrepreneur podcast, who will present “Crash & Learn: Lessons in Business.” The cost to attend this luncheon is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members.
