Students at Northwood Elementary School may have made the holidays a bit brighter for quite a few people thanks to their generous families.
The Student Council sponsored a food drive before Thanksgiving and collected 1,224 pounds of non-perishables for the Greece Food Shelf. That is about 400 pounds more than they collected last year.
