We regretfully are announcing the suspension of our Canal Days event for this year due to COVID-19. At this point in time we would have to start booking and paying deposits for our rentals – tents, port-a-johns, and various other items. We do rely heavily on gracious donations from area businesses. However, they are not open, are unable to generate revenue so more than likely, would be unable to donate for this year. Couple that with the possibility of all having to comply with social distancing. We are sorry but the festival does not make sense this year.
With optimism, and the festival’s signature community spirit, the Canal Days Committee anticipates working on developing next year’s event July 24 and 25, 2021.
