•Phelps, David J., December 16, 2013, at age 63. Predeceased by his father, Donald, brother, Douglas. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Pennello) Phelps; sons, David (Melissa) Phelps, Christopher Phelps (Michelle Miller); grandchildren, Dominic and Jacob Phelps, Emma Phelps and her mother, Kim; mother, Margaret Phelps; mother-in-law, Lisa Pennello; sisters, Kathleen (James) Lamb, Linda (Otis) Taylor; brohter-in-law and sister-in-law Anthony and Patty Pennello; many aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. David was on the Board of Directors of Gates Ambulance and an Air Force Veteran of Vietnam.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated December 21 at St. Christopher’s Church, North Chili. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be directed to Honor Flight Rochester, Inc., P.O. Box 23581, Rochester, NY 14692 or to Gates Ambulance, 1600 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624 in his memory.
