Linda Kruchten-Merring, Interim President of the Brockport Ecumenical Food Shelf Board of Directors, accepts a $1,000 check from Brockport Rotary Club President John Egan. She thanked the club for its generous gift and noted that the need is greatest when children are on school vacation.
The food shelf distributes tons of food annually and the need is always there. Not only food (watch expiration dates on canned goods), but household essentials like tissue and toilet paper are very helpful.
