Brockport CSD welcomes new high school principal

After an extensive interview process and input from several committees including parents, students, and staff, the Brockport Central School District selected Mr. Michael Pincelli as the new Brockport High School Principal. Mr. Pincelli was approved by Brockport’s Board of Education during its July 21 meeting and will begin his new position this summer.

“We are excited Mr. Pincelli will be joining our district,” said Superintendent Sean Bruno. “We had a very strong candidate pool. Mr. Pincelli’s experience, dedication, and enthusiasm for education and our district was evident. He will be an asset to Brockport.”

Mr. Pincelli was the assistant principal for Brighton High School for the last five years. Previously, he served as an English teacher, an instructional coach and a theatre director at Rush Henrietta High School. He also served as a modified lacrosse coach for Spencerport Central Schools. Mr. Pincelli has a Master of Science in Education from Roberts Wesleyan College, a Bachelor of Science in English from SUNY Brockport and holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from the State University of Oswego.
