•Butler, Frederick Kenneth (“Rick”), of The Villages, Florida: formerly of Brockport, died December 21, 2013 at The Villages Hospice House. Fred was the son of the late Frederick and Betty (McAlpin) Butler, and was predeceased by his older brother, James Hubright. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Ginny (Monaco) Butler (originally from Waterloo); his beloved daughter, Laurie (Haigh) and granddaughter Keira, of Milton, Georgia; his sister, Marilyn (Gmelin) of Greece; twin sister, Sandy of Prescott, Arizona, brother (and best friend), Richard of Holley; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Fred worked for more than two decades for the Brockport Central School District as Head Custodian. He retired to The Village in 2013.
A Memorial Service was held January 11 at Fowler Funeral Home, Brockport. Donations can be made to Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, Florida 32162 or to lung cancer research in his memory.
