Greece Historical Society – November 2020 Events

•Education Today In Greece with GCSD Superintendent, Kathleen Graupman, Tuesday, November 17, 7:00 p.m. via  “Zoom.”  Ms. Graupman will discuss what education has looked like during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sharing some specific successes and challenges, she will discuss key areas that have impacted schools and the community such as health and safety, facilities, instruction, and parent engagement, focusing on what a “hybrid” learning model looks like. Ms. Kathleen Graupman is in her sixth year as Greece Central School District Superintendent. She leads a team of more than 3,000 educators and support staff members. With almost 11,000 students in 17 schools, Greece is the largest suburban school district in Monroe County and one of the most diverse. REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Go to the Greece Public Library web page greecepubliclibrary.org click on “Events” then “Calendar” then go to November 17 and register.  An email will be sent prior to the event with login and password instructions. 

•Holiday Craft & Collectibles Show Saturday, November 21, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. A Holiday Craft & Collectibles Show at the Greece Museum, 595 Long Pond Road. Items for sale from local crafters. The Museum Shop will also be open. Socially distancing and masks required. Donations for the Greece Ecumenical Food Self will be appreciated.
