Brockport Sgt. serving in Kuwait
New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Daniel Hallows, a soldier with A Company, 642nd Aviation Support Battalion, and a Brockport resident, checks fuel quality while preparing a Forward Arming and Refueling Point for AH-64 Apaches during an exercise with 4th Battalion, 227th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Cavalry, on January 15.
The Active Army 4H-64 Attack Battalion is serving in Kuwait as part of the New York Army National Guard’s 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade. Company A, 642nd Aviation Support Battalion drills in armories in Orleans and Dunkirk.
The unit, which deployed to Kuwait in December, is providing aviation support to American units deployed there.
