Ogden’s Noelle Burley recognized by NYS Town Clerks Association
Ogden Town Clerk Noelle Burley has been awarded certification as a Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) by the New York State Town Clerks Association for achieving its high educational, experience and participatory requirements.
Ms. Burley has been serving as Town Clerk since December 2014 and is also a member of the NYS Town Clerks Association.
She attained her designation as Registered Municipal Clerk through a combination of numerous hours of education and leadership in various professional and civic organizations.
This statewide Certification Program was launched in 1997 in conjunction with the NYS Association of City and Village Clerks. The program aids Municipal Clerks in improving job performance and recognizes the professionalism of the Municipal Clerk’s office. Specific education and experience requirements must be achieved before this prestigious designation of Registered Municipal Clerk is awarded. Qualifications of applicants are reviewed and approved by the NYS Town Clerks Certification Committee.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to be awarded certification as a Registered Municipal Clerk by the New York State Town Clerks Association,” Burley said. “It is amazing to be recognized for my attainments as the Town Clerk in Ogden. Being born and raised in this town I always envisioned myself contributing my time and knowledge for the purpose of growth in our community. My passion to serve the residents of this town is something I hold close to my heart. In years to come, my wish is that I can appeal to the hearts of the people in this community and encourage them to continue to keep Ogden the great town that it is.”
