New offerings at Chili Presbyterian’s Little Free Library

The Chili Public Library will be closed from April 19 to May 15 as it moves to the new Community Center. Those who are worried about keeping up with their reading might want to visit Chili Presbyterian Church’s Little Free Library during this time. The library is located at the front of the church at 3600 Chili Avenue, and is always open. This month, the library has some cardboard page books for the real little ones, plus books about Spot, Franklin, Curious George, and the Berenstain Bears. Popular books by Nora Roberts, Danielle Steel, and David Baldacci are also available during the month of April. There are even some “cooking books” for those in need new meal ideas. The book collection in the Little Free Library is changed each month so there will always be a new selection of reading materials to choose from.

Chili Presbyterian Church’s Little Free Library also sponsors an online book club. Each month, a new book is selected to read and the public is invited to join in our book discussions via Zoom. The next book is 100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmons, and the Zoom discussion will be held on Wednesday, May 19, at 7 p.m. Those interested in joining the discussion should contact church secretary, Sandy McCauley, at 889-9896 to sign up for the Zoom link. Some instruction is available for those unfamiliar with Zoom.
