SGNY welcomes Justified Quartet
The past year and a half has been hard on everyone and Sothern Gospel New York (SGNY) is excited to be able to hold its Gospel concerts again. They are bringing the Michigan-based group Justified Quartet to Spencerport for the first time. They will perform a pre-Mother’s Day concert at Spencerport Bible Church, 1948 North Union Street, Spencerport, on Saturday, May 8. The show begins at 4 p.m. to allow attendees the opportunity to make an evening of it by going to dinner afterwards.
Thirty years can seem like a lifetime to many, but to others it’s just the beginning. That’s how Tim Caldwell (bass), Mark Jacoby (baritone), Carl Ledford (lead vocals), and David Potts (tenor) felt in 2011 when they joined voices to create Justified Quartet. Individually, each of these accomplished men have shared their talents and love of Southern Gospel music across Michigan, performing with such groups as Calvarymen Quartet, Chosen, Praise Quartet, The Gospelmen, and One Destiny. Combined, they have over 30 years of experience that shines through each and every time they take the stage.
SGNY assures that every precaution is and will be taken to make sure the event is safe and that everyone is comfortable. A donation of $12.50 will be received at the door to help with Justified Quartet’s ministering expenses. For information, contact Joyce Spamer at 329-3840.
