It’s my understanding from the court papers I have read, the injured party cannot identity the dog that bite her. Also The Appellate Court ruled that the Vanessa was not to be euthanized and the matter was sent back to the lower court. What I don’t understand is why Judge Durante in my opinion seems to be disregarding an upper Courts ruling and insisting on retrying the matter. Mr. Wolfe, Vanessa’s owner has agreed to send her to a sanctuary, why can’t be accomplished so that Mr. Wolfe, his family and most of all Vanessa start to heal from this horrible ordeal and also allow Mr. & Mrs. Hirt to move forward as well.
