The Town of Greece will be publishing a local cookbook in celebration of the Town’s 200th Year Anniversary. This Bicentennial Cookbook will feature community recipes, and your help is needed in finding the best mix of recipes to include. Dig up that favorite family recipe, either new or passed down for generations, and send it in for possible inclusion in our Bicentennial Cookbook.
A few rules for submission:
When submitting recipes, please include the category (appetizer, entrée, dessert, etc.) as well as a photo of your masterpiece and, of course, the ingredients and the directions. We hope to include many special treats from kitchens throughout the town.
Additionally, we will have a special section dedicated to local establishments throughout the town: Emergency Responders (does the fire department have a winning recipe?), School District Favorites, Local Restaurants, etc. If your recipe fits into one of these specialty categories, please be certain to make note of that on your submission as well.
Recipe submissions will be accepted from August 1st through October 15th, 2021. You must own the rights to any photographs submitted and recipes need to be your own or a modification of a previously published recipe (something you’ve customized).
All recipes must be submitted digitally at greeceny.gov/cookbook and the form must be completed in its entirety to be considered for inclusion in the Bicentennial Cookbook.
