The newly renovated Hart Gallery 27 features a new exhibit from local artists each month. There is a large main gallery and an upstairs gallery as well. Located at 27 Market Street in historic downtown Brockport, the historic building is home to eight working studios filled by local artists. The Hart Gallery 27 is owned by Brockport native Sarah Hart.
Hart Gallery is now offering Intro to Drawing mini classes in person, in the gallery, beginning Saturday, December 4. In the smaller upstairs gallery there is currently an exhibit of work by Helen Hastings, the founder of The Emily Knapp Museum.
For December, The Hart Gallery will be hanging a new show, “Three Artists Ensemble,” the art of the found object, featuring artists Rich Della Costa, Kim Martillotta Muscarella, and Nancy Razdik. An opening reception will be held on Friday December 3, 6 to 9 p.m. The reception features live music, complimentary refreshments, and an opportunity to meet the artists.
