Hilton sophomore Blake Mott, son of Brian and Jessica Mott of Huffer Road, successfully completed his Eagle Scout project which consisted of restoring four Historic Markers for the Town of Parma and Village of Hilton.
Blake demonstrated his leadership skills throughout the project. He planned, communicated, executed the work, and reported to the authorities with professionalism and timeliness.
Four signs were removed from their locations, sandblasted, primed, and painted with New York State Historic Marker new colors of blue and yellow. Paul Kron provided instruction on sandblasting and the use of his shop for that task. Once restoration and repainting was completed, the Parma Parks Department had them reinstalled.
