•Schmidt, Betty Jane, April 17, 2014, age 93. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth L. and Roscoe L. Punnett, her husband, Charles L. Schmidt, and daughter, Barbara Schmidt Clark. She is survived by her son, Charles Punnett Schmidt of Hamlin; sister, Marjorie A. Leddon of Zelienople, Pennsylvania; grandsons, Matthew C. (Hallie) Clark of Oakland City, Indiana and Gary (Sandy) Clark of Bedford, Indiana; nieces Carolyn (Fred) Gallo, Jane (Robert) Morrow, Cheryl Barton; nephews James (Diane) Leddon, and Jeffrey (Kathy) Barton; cousins Robert Young and Tyler (Jane) Upham. She was a professional secretary for the Eastman Kodak Company and later served as executive secretary to the president of Palm Beach Junior College. Following retirement, she resided in Bloomington, Indiana and then Rochester.
A private Memorial Service and interment will take place in Monongahela, Pennsylvania. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association (3500 Winton Place, Suite 4, Rochester, NY 14623) or the Humane Society of Greater Rochester (99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450) in her memory.
