You can pet a goat, eat your way through Restaurant Row, enjoy the Midway, and find your next career at the 2022 Great New York State Fair. Plus, employers have an opportunity to find their next star employees.
C&S Companies is partnering with the Fair to host a Skilled Trades & Manufacturers Exhibit in the Science & Industry Building. The exhibit, a showcase of the variety of careers that can be found within the skilled trades and manufacturing sectors, will include interactive, hands-on demonstrations showing fairgoers what it’s like to work in the fields of general, mechanical and electrical construction, as well as industrial process and manufacturing. The goal is two-fold: To attract job-seekers, and to serve as a recruitment tool for employers – granting them access to one of the largest audiences at any major event in the State of New York.

For any trade company or manufacturer looking to beef up its fleet of employees – or that has an enticing demonstration – the State Fair still has exhibitor space available. The exhibit will be open during all 13 days of the 2022 Fair. The Fair begins Wednesday, August 24, and continues through Monday, September 5. The exhibit will be open Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Labor Day, Monday, September 5, the exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Founded in 1841, the Great New York State Fair showcases the best of New York agriculture, provides top-quality entertainment and is a key piece of the state’s CNY Rising strategy of growing the Central New York economy through tourism.
