On Thursday, August 18, 2022 at age 69, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Norma. Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Suzanne; brother, Ron; nephew, Jonathan (Michelle); niece, Miriam Broida; brothers-in-law, Joe (Emy), Charles and Kenneth (Polly) Casper; sister-in-law, Trina Kohlmeier; his dog, Buddy and cat, Fred; and many dear friends. Mike was a retired Lieutenant of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department after 27 years. He was an avid sailor, pilot and golfer and loved going to their cottage in Maine at Pemaquid Point.
Family and friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home Friday 4-7pm. Funeral Service Saturday 10am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doctors Without Borders or Lollypop Farm.
