North Chili – Ronald F. Vergamini, 71 of North Chili passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022.
Mr. Vergamini was born Thursday, February 8th, 1951 in Auburn, a son of the late Nello Vergamini and Frances Goraj Vergamini.
His career as a registered nurse spanned 42 years, retiring from the Canandaigua VAMC. Ron enjoyed fishing, wine and beer making and was a fan of the New York Mets and New York Giants.
Surviving are his best friend and beloved wife of 47 years, Elizabeth A. Cummings Vergamini; his children, Matthew Vergamini, Christopher (Jade) Vergamini and Jennifer (Jason) Hall; six grandchildren, Teghan & Tristyn Vergamini, Sophia & Lucas Vergamini and Jackson & James Hall; Kamik, his beloved husky; brothers-in-law, Donald (Melanie) Cummings, John (Chris) Cummings, Robert (Jane) Cummings, Kevin (Deb) Cummings and Paul (Sue) Cummings; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no prior visiting hours. Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 South Lake Avenue, Bergen. Burial will be in St. Brigid’s Cemetery in Bergen. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pets for Adoption at Husky Savers, Inc., Honeoye Falls, NY or your favorite dog rescue group.
