On April 21, members of the Byron-Bergen chapter of the FFA traveled to SUNY Cobleskill to take part in the FFA Career & Leadership Event. The BB agricultural mechanics team of Justin Deleo, Jackson Lundfelt, Kasey Pagels, and Logan LeSage placed sixth among 43 teams and three of the four team members individually placed in the top 30 out of 160 participants. Lundfelt placed seventh overall. This is the first year the BB FFA has competed in this competition which covers machinery and equipment, electricity, structures environment, and natural resources.
