Kevin G. Johnson, a Brockport attorney, was sworn in as Sweden Town Justice in a brief ceremony on the evening of February 26 at the Sweden Town Court.
Rendering the oath is Justice Robert P. Connors. Johnson’s wife, Marne, is holding the Bible. Looking on is his mother, Marcy Johnson, holding grandson, Grant. His father, Kevin M. Johnson, stands with grandson Kevin Jr. Johnson’s appointment term is for the year 2013, replacing Justice Carl A. Coapman who resigned. Johnson will run for election in November, seeking a four-year term. He served as Sweden Town Councilperson in 2012, resigning that position to become Town Justice.
