Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend. She had a deep love for her family and friends. She was a graduate of Brockport State College and was a teacher for a short time before assuming her role as a mother and grandmother. In addition, Jean always found time to volunteer with the School of the Holy Childhood, St. Mary’s Hospital, St. Pius Tenth Church and Ann’s Angels, to name a few of her favorite charities. Jean was an avid reader and loved to take her children and grandchildren to the library to share her passion for reading and learning. She also found plenty of time to knit thousands of blankets that went to her favorite charities and to friends and family for a thought of love, friendship and comfort. A blanket from Jean was truly special. Jean was loved and respected and will be kindly remembered by all.
A special thank you to the Wilmot Cancer Center, Happier at Home and the visiting nurses from Rochester Regional Hospice Care.
