An exhibition of artwork by Sarah Hyatt will be opening at Marti’s on Main, 118 North Main Street, Albion, on Friday, August 18, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Sarah has been a Brockport resident since 2005 and a member of Brockport Artists’ Guild since 2022. Her favorite subjects to paint are animals, flowers, and trees. She loves to incorporate dramatic light and bold colors to create truly fascinating pieces.
Hyatt’s work has been featured in juried shows including the “Small Works Exhibit” at Main Street Arts in Clifton Springs in 2020 and 2022.
Hyatt attended the Steven Carpenter Art Center intermittently between the years of 2007 and 2020, while she finished nursing school and started a family. Her future aspirations include illustrating children’s books as well as teaching art to young children.
