Earlier this year, Holley senior Kayla Neale won first place in New York state for the VFW 3-D Patriotic Art Contest with her sculpture titled “Eagle Perched on An Ash Log.” Her work went on to be judged at the National Convention of the VFW where she again won first place and a $2,500 grand prize.
