“Oh Watta Night!” benefits The People’s Pantry

For one night only, Polite Ink Comedy is turning the traditional Nutcracker on its head in a fun-filled, zany evening of laughter and joy to benefit The People’s Pantry of Rochester. Experience The Sugarplum Fairy and The Mouse King like you never have before in the 6th Annual Polite Ink “Oh Watta Night!” show on Saturday, November 11, 6 p.m., at OFC Creations Theatre Center, 3450 Winton Place, Brighton. The show is appropriate for ages 13 and up.

The evening is filled with original sketch comedy alongside high-energy, quick-witted improv, video, song and dance. You can sit back and watch or be a part of the show by shouting your suggestions and perhaps even joining the characters on stage.

A reception and silent auction start at 6 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per patron with 100% of ticket proceeds going directly to The People’s Pantry of Rochester.

The People’s Pantry (http://www.peoples-pantry.org) was formed to provide groceries to individuals and families to help mitigate the effects of food insecurity. Its mission is to offer this service with dignity and without bias or discrimination. Already this year, it has served more than 2,000 households. The organization also provides baby diapers, feminine products, pet food, and personal hygiene items.
Tickets for “Oh Watta Night!” are for sale online at http://OFCCreations.com/tickets or by calling 585-667-0954. Tickets also can be purchased in person at OFC’s The Old Farm Cafe during all public hours.
