The Brockport CountryMax location is hosting its first-ever Country Christmas event for kids on Saturday, December 16, from 1 to 4 p.m.
There will be $10 pony rides with all proceeds going to Pirate Toy Fund. Kids can also enjoy a free pop-up petting zoo, featuring goats, rabbits, a mini donkey and more. Meet, greet and pose for pictures with these kid-friendly animals.
Santa will be there, too. He’s making a special stop so parents can snap selfies with kids or pets. Plus, a Brockport favorite, JoJo’s Bake Shop, will sell cookies and other baked goods, hot cocoa and more. Holiday shopping? Buy any kids’ toy that day and CountryMax will donate a toy to Pirate Toy Fund.
“We’re super excited to be hosting pony rides at our Brockport Store,” says Kelly McMorrow, events coordinator for CountryMax, “We’ve talked about it for years, and Christmastime is the perfect opportunity.”
“The ponies and petting zoo animals are joining us from an experienced local business…and CountryMax customer,” she adds. “Even better, their proceeds go to support Pirate Toy Fund. Plus, getting JoJo’s involved to sell Christmas goodies makes it extra special.”
