At their June 17 meeting, the Holley Board of Education (BOE) held interviews with those who turned in letters of interest to serve in the recently vacant BOE seats. The vacancies were created when Shannon Brett resigned her position and Salvatore De Luca Jr. decided to not accept his newly elected term.
Following the interviews, the BOE approved and appointed Jessica Sniatecki and Stephanie Merkley effective July 1, 2024. They will both serve until May 20, 2025, the day of next year’s election. At that time, their seats and the remainder of their terms will be up for election.
