Churchville-Chili alum Andre Fontenette (Class of 2000) was inducted into the Section V Football Hall of Fame on June 27. As one of the best receivers and kick returners in school history, Andre Fontenette set many school records in football. He was first team All-County (1998), first team All-Greater Rochester (1999), and was selected for the 2000 Governor’s Bowl. Fontenette played college football at Syracuse University. He has coached football at the high school and collegiate level, including at SUNY Brockport, Wagner College, University of Maine, Campbell University and McQuaid Jesuit High School. He was recently named varsity football coach at Gates Chili.
