Garden tour to benefit Seymour Library

Back by popular demand, the Seymour Library Foundation is hosting its 2024 garden tour, “Stunning Gardens – By Ordinary People,” on Saturday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, July 21.

Spend a leisurely afternoon with a self-guided tour of seven gardens located at homes in the Brockport area. Enjoy the design, vibrant color, and variety showcased by these local gardeners:
•Jim Fallon, East Avenue – many features including 150 shrubs, cannas, and blueberries
•Bob Dumas, Sherwood Drive – Daylilies, hostas, a rock garden, and two water features
•Pam Ketchum, Park Avenue – a set of front-yard gardens and a main garden with dwarf conifers
•Deborah Ingrassia, Lynnwood – a perennial border, koi pond, and vegetable garden
•Joe Rocchio, South Avenue – an oasis of shade on a hot July day, an inviting garden accented with sculptures and found art
•Ray Trim and Lee Macey, South Avenue – a tropical landscape with amazing banana trees
•Martha David, Skidmore Drive – group of fairy gardens created when her now-adult daughter was young.

Reservations are $25 per person and can be made at the Seymour Library, 161 East Avenue, Brockport, by emailing seymourlibraryfoundation@gmail.com, or calling 585-637-1050. All funds will be used in support of the Seymour Library.
