Mark A. Hurysz

Mark Alan Hurysz, age 70, born on 7/21/1953, in Rochester, NY. He was the son of Edwin Hurysz and Dorothy “Dottie” (Tacy) Hurysz Ouweleen. He passed away on 3/21/2024. Mark was predeceased by his parents, Dottie Ouweleen, Edwin Hurysz, and step father, David Ouweleen. He is survived by his sons, Aaron D. Hurysz, Brian C. Hurysz; his granddaughter, Lila J. Hurysz; grandsons, Hunter R. Hopkins and Ethan P. Hopkins; his sons’ mother, Deborah Clare; sister, Kathleen Hurysz; and brother, Keith Hurysz.

Mark served in the U.S. Army from 4/6/1973 to 4/5/1976. He then came home and worked at Rochester Instrument Systems, Kodak, Ametek, and Redcom in Rochester, NY. He retired in 2016. Mark enjoyed a few hobbies such as bowling, table tennis, video games and an occasional round of golf. He also was an avid electronics buff. But most of all he was always available and willing to help friends and family fix anything in need of repair. He will be greatly missed, and always remembered.

Family and friends are invited to his memorial service on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 12 pm at Churchville Park, Anderson shelter #2, located in Churchville N.Y.
