CountryMax holding Christmas Spirit photo contest

Celebrating the season and raising money for a good cause

Each year, CountryMax holds a popular “Pet Photos with Santa” event at its stores. The retailer decided not to let COVID stop the tradition. While this year won’t quite be the same, it is hoped that everyone can still enjoy their beloved photos with pets and Santa safely at CountryMax.

Look for the Christmas Spirit Photo Backdrop Display through Christmas Eve, December 24, at any of the 17 CountryMax stores, and take your pet’s photo when it’s convenient for you. For safety and health reasons, it’s a photo-realistic backdrop scene with Santa; you simply pose in front of it, snap your own photo, and upload it yourself to enter the contest.

For every contest entry, CountryMax will donate $1 to a charity fund that will be split equally between four pet and livestock-based charities (up to $2,000). All customers need to do is submit an entry to help a worthy cause this Christmas season. Funds will be equally distributed between Heritage Christian Stables Therapeutic Riding (Rochester), Happy Tails Animal Shelter (Ontario County Humane Society), HumaneCNY (Syracuse), and Purpose Farm (Syracuse).

For details and to enter, visit any CountryMax location or see the website, https://www.countrymax.com/christmas-spirit-contest.
