Canandaigua National Bank & Trust announces promotions
Canandaigua National Bank & Trust (CNB) has promoted of Steve Branca, Ann Lyon, Dana Mayeu, Lindsay Mohr, and Lindsay Tiballito Vice-President.
Steve Branca joined CNB as Assistant Audit Manager in 2019 and was elevated to Audit Manager effective January 1, 2021. Previous to CNB, Branca spent 15 years at Xerox Corp. North American Finance and Accounting as Internal Audit Manager. Branca has 24 years of experience in financial services, and holds the designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He earned his BA, Economics from Providence College, and his MBA through Rochester Institute of Technology.
Ann Lyon, Resource Recovery Manager, has been with CNB for over 15 years, and has served as supervisor of the Resource Recovery Department for the last seven. Lyon received her BS in Fashion Merchandising from Mansfield University, and completed her Elementary Education graduate degree at St. John Fisher College. She was recognized by her colleagues and CNB leadership in 2019 as a nominee for the Arthur S Hamlin Award (CNB Annual Award for Excellence).
Dana Mayeu joined CNB in 2011 as an Accountant and has held various positions in the Accounting Department over her 10 plus years, most recently as Assistant Controller. Effective January 1, 2021, she was promoted to the position of Associate Controller. Mayeu graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a BS in Accounting and Finance, and received a Distinguished Scholar Award. She was honored by her peers as the 2017 Arthur S. Hamlin Award recipient.
Lindsay Mohr has been with CNB since 2011. She has held many roles in retail banking, including three years as a Business Banking Officer. Mohr moved into her Commercial Services Officer role in 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, and has completed MBA courses in Leadership, Management, Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Strategic Planning at St. John Fisher College. Mohr is a board member at Pathstone Housing Action Corporation and Pathstone Development Corporation, a loan committee member at Venture Jobs Foundation, and she volunteers with Foodlink and the Perinton Food Shelf.
Lindsay Tiballi also came to CNB in 2011. She has over 16 years of commercial lending experience. At CNB, she worked as a Portfolio Manager in the Commercial Services Group prior to becoming Business Banking Portfolio Officer in the Business Banking Unit. Tiballi graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Rochester Institute of Technology and her Master of Business Administration Degree from Keuka College. She has also completed training through the American Banker’s Association National Commercial Lending School. Tiballi is a past committee member for Stuart Horse Trials and holds a current professional membership in the Risk Management Association.
