CNB celebrates Women of Excellence recipient
Rochester Business Journal has selected Laurie Haelen, AIF®, Senior Vice President, Manager of Investment and Financial Planning Solutions, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Company (CNB) as a 2022 Women of Excellence recipient.
The Women of Excellence awards recognize high-achieving women for their career accomplishments, community involvement, leadership and sustained commitment to mentoring. The Women of Excellence awards program was created by the Rochester Business Journal to recognize women at the top of their careers who are committed to professional excellence and community service and who demonstrate the positive impact of mentoring. Winners were selected by the editor and publisher of the Rochester Business Journal.
As Senior Vice President, Manager of Financial Planning and Investment Solutions, Haelen oversees the investment and planning team, which includes Investment Management, Financial Planning, and Retirement Plans at CNB. As a member of wealth senior management, she is a valuable resource in strategic planning and execution for CNB Wealth Brands. She also serves on CNB’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, co-chairs the Community Connections sub-committee and is a mentor in the Mentorship Program.
A life-long Rochester resident, she has shared her expertise with many organizations over the years, serving as treasurer of the YWCA of Rochester & Monroe County, board member of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester, board member of Rochester Education Foundation, and member of the United Way Community Investment Cabinet. She is currently active as a board member of the Monroe Community Hospital Foundation.
Haelen will be honored at The Women of Excellence awards on Wednesday, May 24 at an awards celebration at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 East Main Street in Rochester.
