On September 11, at 7 p.m., the Spencerport Volunteer Firemen’s Association, in conjunction with the Village of Spencerport, will hold a 9/11 Remembrance Service at the Clyde Carter Memorial Gazebo. All are encouraged to attend and support First Responders including members of the all volunteer fire association, the Ogden Police Department and Spencerport Ambulance Corps members.
“Never Forget” became a common chant for those who remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001 morning. The events in Webster this past Christmas were a sharp reminder of the commitment of First Responders.
Those attending the Remembrance Service are reminded to bring a candle to light as a symbol of caring and tribute.
