The Spencerport Community Chorus will begin rehearsals for the spring season on Sunday, January 5. All interested singers are welcome to join the chorus. Members come from Spencerport and surrounding areas. No auditions are required but singers should commit to rehearsals and the concerts which will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m.
The 40 member chorus, directed by Margaret Page Colucci and accompanied by Margaret Johnson, rehearses each Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4:15 p.m. at the Spencerport Wesleyan Church, 2653 Nichols Street (Route 31). A variety of musical pieces are performed.
The Chorus is a member of the Greater Rochester Choral Consortium.
