Clarkson Historical Society hosts “Positive People” speaker

The Clarkson Historical Society’s Membership Meetings for 2014 begin Wednesday, March 5 with Dale Harnett of The College at Brockport’s Communication Department. He will be speaking on “Lessons from the Most Positive Person in Town.” He describes  the topic in this way. We all know “Positive People.” What is it that makes these people different from the other people in our lives? And what lessons can we learn from them? This presentation shares lessons learned and stories collected from “The Most Positive Person in Town,” people from small towns across the Appalachian Mountain region of the eastern U.S. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the contributions of positive people in their own lives and be challenged to consider whether they want to take the steps to become more positive people themselves.

This talk is open to all and will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 at the Clarkson Academy, 8343 Ridge Road, Clarkson (next to the Clarkson Community Church). Parking is available and refreshments will be served.
